Disregard my questions. I found the solution.
Thanks.
"I created two runtime environments for linux and macOS as well. There are two zip files in the release area named accordingly. After downloading and unzipping the W10 version, download and unzip your OS file (e.g. linux.zip for linux) into the same location. The shell scripts for your OS should be in a folder called linux_sh or macOS_sh. I have no idea if they will work, and as they were created in W10, they will need the execution bit set. The process to follow with them is the same as W10. If you do get it to work, please post what you did here to help the rest of the community.

For any other operating systems, you will need to run jlink with a JDK 14 for that OS. My jlink batch file for the linux runtime that I created is attached and has all the arguments and modules that will be required"

Ciao Kipper, I cannot find the shell script for OS. I can find it for linux but not the other one. Is there a dedicated folder to unzip?

Thanks

MacOS and linux are essentially the same OS. You need to work out how to get them to run under that OS. I think ij got it to work under linux. Runs fine under Windows.
I've found the issue with the maps and 180W/E. A new version is here. There is an update and the full version. If AGL is already installed, you only need the update.
"Use race start time" now works (uses both the race start time and start position for waypoint and DC checking, ignoring the boat's current location). A new version is here. There is an update and the full version. If AGL is already installed, you only need the update.

sorry. deleted.

Hi Kipper1258,

Is there a way to reduce the size of the "AutoGrib" pop up window?

I am using a small 11" laptop and cannot use AGL14 because the "AutoGrib" pop-up window is too big, and I am not able to see and click the "Apply" button. The window doesn't have a side scroll bar.

I searched the internet for a solution, since this maybe a MS-Windows question, but could not find it.

Perhaps there is some sort of flag coded in AGL that specify the size of the pop up window. If so, I could edit that flag if I knew where to find it.

Please I appreciate any assistance.
Attached a screenshot for reference.
Thanks.

move your mouse-cursor to the left upper corner of the popup window and resize the popup-window.
(with mouse leftclick-hold and move.with touchpad tap-hold and move)

Assuming it is a 'windows' laptop. Mac or other os I do not know 'how to' things.

If you do not see appear an arrow in a corner then double click somewhere in the top-middle of the popup-window and try again to resize.

Hi Kipper1258,

Change the font size and use the Resize button, all driven off that. Or you can edit autogribload.ini and change the value of fontSize=14 to something like fontSize=8. Also set gFontSize=14 to gFontSize=8 when AGL is not running. You can adjust those until it fits.

Africa by Sea 2025 - Suez to Port Said

When Napoleon (briefly) occupied Egypt at the turn to the 19th C, he ordered his expedition’s Directeur des Ponts et Chaussées, Jacques-Marie Le Père, to evaluate the ancient, derelict, infilled course of a Ptolemaic canal connecting the Red Sea to the Nile via the Great Bitter Lake, versus a new canal to the Mediterranean directly. Neither were considered feasible – locks to climb a pauvre-surveyed 10m sea-level difference, or continuous dredging of the Nile, would both be equally financially prohibitive. Fifty years passed before the unlikeliness of Le Père’s survey finding was challenged and a French Compagnie Universelle du Canal Maritime de Suez obtained a 99-year concession from the Khedive of Egypt, Said Pasha, to construct and operate a canal from the Red Sea to the Mediterranean, much against the will of the Ottoman Sultan, Abdulmecid I (the Pasha’s nominal overlord), and the wishes of the (Irish) British prime minister, Lord Palmerston. The year was 1859, the very number of this race (planning, dear boy, planning!), which, despite the canal’s double-super-tanker gauge and lack of locks, is strictly prohibited to sailors IRL. But not SOLers! 85nm in Fareast 28Rs to complete your circumnavigation of Africa!

Sinbad by Balloon 2025 - Carnarvon to Dondra

From here, our home in Bharatavarṣa is now north west of us – said Sinbad to his fellow balloonists. Perhaps we can ride the wind first further north, and then catch the winds that every year bring the rain, perhaps not. It’s 2600nm and we could be aloft awhile, so, Master el-Quarters, victuals only, no sandbags, provisioning the giant hamper. It will be not a picnic!
