May I use a second installation of qtvlm (simple copy)? An what about nmea? There seems no way to assign an different IP…

Yes you can copy. I have six copies of qt installed, all running independently.

For the NMEA feed, change the port number in each of you brainaid instances. I use 5011 for qt1, 5012, for qt2 and so on.

@Kipper: This seems to be THE hint. Will try that soon – thanks a lot!
And fair winds for all time!
DANG! That works! The "trick" with different ports in the NMEA Proxy was the thing I needed. THX a lot!

Hi there. Trying to do the whole routing thing only on an ipad. I'm almost there but it's so long since I've done this I've forgotten one thing. Can someone fill me in please...is Andrew's (kipper's) programme the only place to source the race marks file (gpx file)? Thanks.

The gpx download feature has been added to the new client, it's currently available only in ?version=dev (in the list under the misc tab).
Thanks ij!

All, looks like someone has copied the address bar entry which will not work for OneDrive. It is different for every computer. The actual link (which I have to share) is https://1drv.ms/f/...

If you use the previous links, I think it takes you to your personal OneDrive.

Hi Matai, I've been trying to disable the beep sounds associated with routing, simplifying and optimising. I tried turning them off in configuration/routes/beep when routing/simplification, but this did not stop them. In the end, I had to disable the Windows asterisks default sound to remove the beeps. Can you confirm? cheers, John
