Il me siérait volontiers de continuer à me nommer "La buse" pour cette course pourtant fort éloignée de mes eaux de chasse favorites...mais pourtant familières à mes débuts prométeurs.

So, please, call me "La buse" for this race....

    la buse, bien sur

    Hi RC,

    and thanks for everything..!!

Now, I will try to find the time to try the race....
The trace seems to be good, but not so easy according to winds direction.

It's nothing. Thanks for the change.
I will know be able to sail as La Buse (Buzzard, in English, I thought) who was known for the quickness of his attacks....even if it was in the Indian Ocean.
    Beware forward....!!!!

    Hi,

I think I have a proposition for a totally virtual race.
It could take place in the north of Quebec, on Manicouagan reservoir.
Why here? For me, because it's a very particular place on our planet. It's the place where a huge meteor has fallen, perhaps the one which has caused the extinction of dinosaurs.
Of course it's not really a famous sailing place, but why not?
Perhaps it could take place during "l'été Indien", so at the end of septembre or in octobre. Later it could be a bit frozen....
So, it's just a proposal and I will not be hurted if it's not considered as a good one.

I added a file with the polars of the Platu 25 as I have thought that it could be a good one for this race...

Casey Station to Neumayer Station 2024

It’s late summer now in Antarctica, the sun will still not set, but the Emperor chicks are hatched. Let’s yacht on from Australia’s Casey Station, destination Germany’s Neumayer Station! Our route takes us past Molodezhnaya Stancija, Russia’s self-styled capital of Antarctica, as well as Mirney (RUS), Davis (AUS), Mawson (AUS), Syowa (JAP) and Maitri (IND) down the full length of the continent’s east coast.
