ok RC will have a quickk look. thanx. AC
Hi Ahmet and RC.
It is a very good race as you propose.

But why put that much waypooints?
Do not you fear that locks the race and it comes down to follow the boats in the race lead.

The absence of waypoints allow free rein to choose his navigation between islands.

See you at our virtual oceans
(Excuse my broken English)

RC we are ok with your setup and
mjedi we thank u for your comment i have asked my friends to have a look at it and will return with their comments.
MJedi - thank you too for looking at the race.

At the moment the SOL race is following the course designed. If the designers pay heed to your comments and wish to make changes, they can be done!

Ahmet - look forward to learning from you what you and your friends wish to do :-) Changes are easily made and we have plenty of time before the scheduled start!

Ce n'est qu'une remarque de ma part, mais si le projet est bien avancé, je ne voudrai pas vous donner du travail supplémentaire.
Cordialement
MJedi

This is just a remark from me, but if the project is well advanced, I will not want to give you extra work.
Best regards
MJedi
Hi RC,

boat preference is First 40.7.

secondly re Mjedi's comments we are considering and will come back on that shortly.

salut Serge,

thank you for your comments. this being discussed among TUR sailors and will come back with a solution.
CORRECTION & APOLOGY
last two messages sent as "sol" were posted by TUR AC505.

Note to RC: happened while i was logged in as sol checking the route. sorry.
Hi Ahmet - If you look at other races that have been designed by SOLers, there is usually a mention of their name(s) in the race description on the homepage.

I was just wondering if you/your friends would like some attribution/mention in the description and,if so, what it should be!!! Its not essential.. just shows who has designed the race!!

:-)
oooh ok now i see. no we dont need that thank you. again sorry for posting as sol:(

Africa by Sea - Abidjan to Swakopmund

Our exploration of Africa by Sea continues. Next, it’s off to Swakopmund, on the water’s edge of the Kalahari desert. It’s a wind-blasted coast, and a venue of choice for those seeking to set wind-powered speed records. More likely than not, we’ll have to beat into it in our Steinlager II, to finally find some shelter behind the walls of Platz am Meer where there is a marina of sorts. Only 2200nm!
