Ciao all
have been playing with sol boat today to inspect the race track . I have noticed that there is a very small bug with the redonda mark : it does not turn into " rounded " when correctly rounded ....I know it is very minor , but a few boats might be puzzled during the race and decide to sit there to attemp correct rounding for ages! LOL .....lots of time to fix it as it is the last mark beofore the final run to finish ....ciao ;)
I went around the Ile Tintamarre mark just a few minutes ago and got no rounded indication. I went around it again and it still does not recognize that I have been around it. I am now losing distance and places and I am done with this race.
The mark was moved 1 day ago to the edge of the thin rocks to prevent island jumping – looks like you had the old data and rounded on the inside. It was a decision made since a lot of people were raging and pretty abusive about the SLI jumping at the first waypoint. We're usually very hesitant to change existing waypoints but in this case we did and it looks you got hit by it, I'm sorry for that.
As another note, I marked the rounding as valid for you, since you obviously did not gain anything from your rounding attempts. You can now proceed to finish.

Great, thank you. I started the race 12 hours late just to learn the mechanics of this game, so my final standing won't mean much. But it is good to know that problems are listened to and remedied.
Hi,
No big deal but crossed the finish line and no finish. I'm sure we made all marks. but I could be wrong.

Sorry bigStorm, but you missed Nevis I believe. The next mark to be passed indicates how it has to be passed, 'Pass South' for example. The last passed mark shows 'Rounded'.

Hi,
I see that, this old mind has those senior moments. :-) Must have taken a different course to Saba Island. Missed the start so I was way behind drinking rum and taking in the sun.
