Start Report from RORC:
"The RORC Myth of Malham Race got off to a fine start." Reports John Burnie on The RYS Line. IRC 4 were first away and as the tide was turning on The Green many yachts chose the classic RYS line start of the island shore. However, several yachts chose the pin end and could just fly a shy kite. It was difficult to tell which end of the line paid but RORC CEO Eddie Warden Owen, further up the course believed that going for the main land shore was working better. Andy Budgen's Volvo 70, Monster Project got away well but the best start of the day was Piet Vroon's Tonnerre de Breskens. Nailing the leward end of the line with pace and hight. After a grey start, the 120 yacht fleet are now in bright sunshine and heading towards Hurst Narrows, where a favourable tide will turn in about half an hour."

At the end of Practice Racing some SOLers decided to go hang near to Jubilant - probably in the hope of some of CG's excellent food!!
