  • Puffin browser v 3.0 for Sailonline NOT (yet) 4.0
    Board » Technical Support
    Hi all

Please note that CloudMosa has confirmed to me that Sailonline races will only (at present) load with Puffin v 3.0 and not the latest v 4.0.

SO.. for anyone who has recently updated the browser (as I did), you will need to uninstall it and reinstall the old v 3.0.

For me, the paid version 4.0 is the only one available in the Google playstore but you can find the free v 3.0 downloadable elsewhere.

I am now back seeing SOL races in Puffin!

    Hurray!

Here is what CloudMosa had to say:

    QUOTE
    Hi,

This website is taking about the version 3.0.0.

We make a lot of improvement on 4.0.4 now.

As to the flash problem on www.sailonline.org, this is not related to the version.
The flash does not work on the old versions because the problem is that this website updates its flash version and it needs newer flash player.

We are working on upgrading the flash player version now but it takes some time.

    Sincerely,
    Proko Chou
    UNQUOTE

    Hope this helps!!

Glad all is back to normal for you.

Clearing cache(s) regularly is always a good first step to try - along with screen refresh or browser reboot.
