Sailonline is shocked and very sad to announce the unexpected death of Bimmer, aka Finn Møller Christensen. Having recently celebrated a milestone birthday, Finn had been very much looking forward to being able to be present in reality once again at the Silverrudder Race of 2021, a race partnership he organised so well for us.

Behind the scenes, Finn was a highly valued and reliable member of Sailonline's OPS Admin team - having joined the team in 2016 - not only sharing in the work of setting up races, but also working with the Boat Particulars sheets and producing timelapse videos of selected races. He was one of few who set up our semi-official Practice Races and was a regular participant in them - racing sharply and keeping us all on our toes.

He is going to be very much missed by us all.

I will miss my Danish friend who was so helpful with qtVlm matters and who did so much for SOL. RIP Bimmer.

RIP Finn. In my short time on SOL I have come to know you as a fine online sailor and active worker behind the screens. We will remember you for a long time through all the polar and particular sheets you have made.
