Board » Sailonline Race Committee » Races » RACE REPORTERS WANTED

AHOY SOLers! As posted various race chats, Race Reporters are wanted here!

Whether you are a front-runner or someone further back in the field, your written comments and insights on how a race has gone are very welcome and are now being actively sought!

You may write technically, you may write anecdotally. Nothing too scurrilous please!

Contributions should be submitted during or shortly after a race as follows:

1. to reporters@sailonline.org, Subject Race Report - name of race

and/or

2. posted as a blog, either on solfans, or on a personal blog and then we just need the url.

Once received, the contributions will be included in the Homepage Results blogpost. If the comment is very brief, then it may appear verbatim in the Sailonline blogpost.

This concept is a work-in-progress... we've had some fabulous race reports over the past few months, at my request, and now I would love to see the wordsmiths among us begin to self-generate contributions for any/all races that are run!

:-)

None better than aner can describe the race ... my little contribution is the phrase of Nelson Mandela: "A winner is a dreamer who never gives up" ...
