	Great! My vote is to apply the last 30 from now! in October -November I have made very good result so I can reach immediate the top 10 Joke beside, I think is a fair system, I would propose to add a yearly raking counting the best 10 result overall. Regards

	I support the changes on ranking but I also think that lenght of the race is important too.. I would suggest that longer races should have different weight on ranking.. regards goblin

	Good day Incognito and Jakob there is a mistake in the SYC rankings that occurred overnight : the cancelled NZL eastern leg had come into the count , replacing the SYD Hobart that should not have been deleted from the count , as it was there yesterday . ( this based on new system described by Incognito ) . This error makes quite a difference in the delta points between myself and Jepsom , who now feels only one point still to haunt .. ..but it is 14 !!!! ....He will take my lead soon , but would prefer that he does so at the correct time ...LOLOL ...and believe he thinks the same ....thanks ....ciao ciao

	Yep, that is because for the server the race has started even though no one knows about it! Problem corrected. Rankings will be adjusted tomorrow morning as usual.

	Thanks Incognito I beleieve there is more to it ....even if the NZL race was triggered in by the server , following the new concept, the SYD HOB should have not been deleted ....the server acted as before new system in place ...one in one out ....thanks for resolving so quickly . ciao

	That is normal. I am making a progressive change from 10 best out of last 15 to 10 best out of last 30. Currently, we are at 10 best out of last 17. This is all done manually. When Round North Island was unexpectedly added to the SYC ranking, the 18th oldest race, Sydney Hobart, had to be dropped out of the ranking. When Round North Island will start in a normal way, I will change the SYC ranking to 10 best out of last 18, which will keep Sydney-Hobart in the loop. Regards, Francois

	Ciao ..... nothing changed ...the only solution is in my opinion to trim at 10 on 19 tonight , after the zilt starts . this will resurrect the syd hob , will keep the NZL waiting for that to take place , and include the zilt . Melbourne to Osaka Prelude 2024

Welcome once again to what these days is Sailonline’s almost annual virtual Melbourne to Osaka Yacht Race. In real life, this double-handed 5500 nm race between these two sister cities, one deep in the southern hemisphere, the other high in the northern hemisphere, is run every four to five years, and is planned to be held again in 2025, so this race is a Prelude in partnership with the Melbourne Osaka Cup 2025 organising committee collaborating with the Ocean Racing Club of Victoria (ORCV), and the Sandringham (SYC) and Osaka Hokko (OHYC) yacht clubs. On this occasion, we’ll be racing the well-known First 40, a popular size of boat for a long-distance double-handed race. With the doldrums unavoidably lying across the track, you can expect to be at virtual sea for at least a month!

St Nazaire Chasse TIMED Race 2024

Welcome to a "chasse" (hunt) from St. Nazaire to La Baule on the west coast of France! This race was designed by SOLer FR_flouflou in 2010. The KER 40 was introduced to SOL in 2016 by SOLer psail, and the Sol-KER was a welcome addition to SOL’s fleet of 40- footers, as it was to the IRL Ker fleet of eponymous - like KERonimo, KukuKERchu and Ice BreaKER. This is a TIMEDrace, so you may RE-REGISTER HERE to try again, after finishing a run. You will have 13 days and 11 hours to show your skill and decision making after the race opens.
