Looks Pretty good to me Jereon.
Although its counting races that have not yet started.
Like This one "Cyclades volcano run"

Yeah, seen that too I think we must leave that ones out. it looks confusing.

Might also be useful to see which order the races will drop out of the counting.

Perhaps add a date the race was finished?

Also anyone with a Boat name longer than 15 Chars should be added a 30 point penalty ;o)

Hi all

I'd just like to hear comments on the new ranking system.
I don't understand why points are given on a DNS or even on a DNF. It seems to award no effort.
Also, it was nice to see the dates of the races shown in the old system - maybe we could have something set up when we click our profiles to show the races we've done in date order & the points given.
However, at least the new system seems to show the latest top winners at a more correct place in the rankings, which is good.
I'm new to all this so other peoples views would be great to hear.
Thanks all
This new one looks more real. That DNS get points is not fear to the rest of us. That DNF gets points is ok since they have started to race. That can be many reasons why they not cross the end line.
I still have reservations on the DNF points given. Should someone who made a huge effort for the last 5 weeks on Leg 5 but finished in the bottom half of the race be given more points than someone who just set a course on a Saturday race & then didn't check it again?
btw, my husbands 4th higest race in the rankings is one that he didn't even register for.
I got more points for a DNS & DNF than I did coming 317 in leg 4.
It just doesn't seem right
Thanks for your feedback, we will have a look at the suggestions you provided.

Why are some of the races not included, such as Sydney-Hobart and Hobart-Sydney?

Why not list the 15 races in chronological order, newest on top, and put the discarded ones in brackets. In that way we'll see which race will go out of the list next. It would be similar to Stenum's list, which I think looked quite good.
