Hi All, Hi Kip'

Do you know the reason why I get this message :
"C:\SOL\Race1>C:\SOL\Java14\jre_windows\bin\java.exe -Dsun.java2d.uiScale.enabled
=false -Dfile.encoding=UTF8 -classpath "C:\SOL\Java14\agl14_4_2.jar;C:\SOL\Java1
4\agl14_lib\*;" main.AGMain autoGribLoader.ini 1.0
Picked up JAVA_TOOL_OPTIONS: -Dfile.encoding=UTF8
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: setSelectedIndex:
228 out of bounds
at java.desktop/javax.swing.JComboBox.setSelectedIndex(Unknown Source)
at autoPilot.Gui.<init>(Gui.java:1470)
at autoPilot.AutoPilot.<init>(AutoPilot.java:257)
at main.AGMain.main(AGMain.java:10)" ?

when I (try to) launch AGL
Thx for your answer ;-)

Your font issue again. Check your previous post and solution.
I beg your pardon Kip'
...I haven't compared the Error Messages...

Thx ;-)

(one more time the problematic font was Yu Mincho...)

Hello,
I first tried to install AGL14_4_1 on my Win11 PC. I followed the instructions in the manual, copied AG14_pause.bat and AG14.bat to another folder, and ran AG14_pause.bat, but a fatal error appeared as shown in the attached image. Java14 was installed, but deleting it did not change anything. Any hints on how to solve the problem would be appreciated.

It has not been tested or compiled under Windows 11. Not much I can do about that in the short term, you'll need a Windows 10 PC for now.
Since new version 4.5.3 the following appears in cmd line. AGL still seems to function ok so as it says "warning only"

Of course that error has always been there; dumb me!

That warning has been there from the first version of AGL14. Not a problem.

Africa by Sea 2025 - Maputo to Mogadishu

The fifth leg of our exploration of Africa By Sea takes us north along the length of the Continent’s succulent sub-tropical and tropical Indian Ocean coast. Much fought over by traders and colonists both well-before and after a Portuguese expedition under the command of Vasco da Gama first sailed there from Europe back in the 16th century, it is yet to be properly explored as a yachting destination. With plenty of islands off- and inshore, small and very large, there is much to interrupt your 1900nm voyage and visit in your Swan 65, from Maputo to Mogadishu! Race #1858
