	Jakob: I think the problem is the OUTPUT from Sail Planner. Is it possible to control the Planner format to match SOL Racing format, so the displays are using the same format? (or vice versa) Either format is OK but they should be the "SAME" and not be different. If it breaks, it's not strong enough!

	Ok, I see. Thing is that Sailplanner is not optimised as a game-router but rather developed as a IRL-router. ...one of the guys behind the game...

	Yes I understand, but combined it is a really wonderful way to learn how to use new software. The great benefit of SOL is not getting cold wet & miserable! If it breaks, it's not strong enough!

	SP Phillipines have map enough for the inital sailing - a larger map is coming.

	Hi there! Is the map for the remaining parts for leg 4 being released soon? It´s starting to be time for planning the rest of the journey... (Mostly because I´m going away for some days next weeek and have to put in a lot of DC:s...!) Is it possible for you guys to post some news about this in this forum maybe? 	Map has been updated - you might need restart SP to see get the new map. It might also be necessary to switch to another area and back again.

	Hi, I just downloaded sailplanner, and only see a map for VOR leg 3??? although as far as i can tell the finish is included in the Phillipines map, is this correct? Are the winds identical between sailplanner and SOL? Thanks in advance... I help develop the client interface for the best online ocean racing sim there is... __/)/)_/)__

Kapiti Chetwodes Race 2024

For only the second time in SOL history, we have the pleasure of inviting you to the Kapiti Chetwodes Race, held in the Cook Strait region. Organised IRL by the Royal Port Nicholson Yacht Club from Wellington in New Zealand. The approximately 160nm long route, full of turning points, will take us from the bay at RPNYC around the islands of Somes, Kapiti and Chetwodes and back to the finish line at RPNYC. We have only a 26 ft Albin 79 yacht at our disposal. All this means that we will have a lot of fun, so fair winds!

Two Oceans Doublecross TIMED Race 2024

Our November Timed race takes us to Cape Town near where the Atlantic and Indian oceans meet. Our ride is a beautiful ketch, the Archer 78. Starting at Cape Town, we’ll round Robben Island, then head south to round Cape Point, up around Seal Island before heading north to round Dassen Island before returning to Cape Town. This is a TIMED race, so you may RE-REGISTER HERE to try again, after finishing a run. You will have 13 days and 11 hours to test your skill and decision making after the race opens.
