	I also get RSL errors and error #2046. This http://bit.ly/Vewkx0 post suggests a signing error as well. Is this an issue with the new client? How can I use the 'classic' client? 	Hi Ralf, Judging by the link you posted you are running a local copy of the client in stead of the web based. Try clearing the browser cache and load the client via the link on the homepage. The only thing we did was change the beta version to the default and you can still load the classic with this url: /windy/run/{raceID}/?version=classic Did you guys have trouble running the beta client before as well? I am a ex-admin of SOL who joins in from time to time.

	Not sure if I ran the beta client before. I seem to remember seeing it, but that may have been on a different machine. Either way, it was some time ago. I cleared flash and browser cache, but it doesn't help. Running flash 11.2.202.258 on linux amd64. The classic client does work.

	Hi Jaap, Found out a little more on the subject and would like to test something. I can't test it myself. If you go here and uncheck store common flash components. Then load the sol client form the homepage, what happens then? Afterwords feel free to go back and re-check the box. Looking forward to hear your findings. I am a ex-admin of SOL who joins in from time to time.

	The problem may be Firefox. The client loads just fine in Chrome, but with the Fox I, too, get that error. -- HTH, Philip

	For anyone wanting the Classic Client, there is now a link in the Race Description. Going forward, and until further notice, all Race Descriptions will contain a linke to the SOL Classic Client.

Kapiti Chetwodes Race 2024

For only the second time in SOL history, we have the pleasure of inviting you to the Kapiti Chetwodes Race, held in the Cook Strait region. Organised IRL by the Royal Port Nicholson Yacht Club from Wellington in New Zealand. The approximately 160nm long route, full of turning points, will take us from the bay at RPNYC around the islands of Somes, Kapiti and Chetwodes and back to the finish line at RPNYC. We have only a 26 ft Albin 79 yacht at our disposal. All this means that we will have a lot of fun, so fair winds!

Two Oceans Doublecross TIMED Race 2024

Our November Timed race takes us to Cape Town near where the Atlantic and Indian oceans meet. Our ride is a beautiful ketch, the Archer 78. Starting at Cape Town, we’ll round Robben Island, then head south to round Cape Point, up around Seal Island before heading north to round Dassen Island before returning to Cape Town. This is a TIMED race, so you may RE-REGISTER HERE to try again, after finishing a run. You will have 13 days and 11 hours to test your skill and decision making after the race opens.
