    Seems to be a need for sails to be added for reaching and running.Have found in the last leg that I have been able to get a higher boat speed in less wind when tight reaching than broad reaching in significantly higher wind strengths????
    A note I made for my self shows,7.8knts boat speed in 9.1 knots wind speed at twa 90 around 14hours ago.
    Currently in over 20 knts wind and doing only 7.1 boat speed at 120 twa?
    DoI need to buy sails?Can't afford carbon or kevlar:)

    Well you covered so much I gave up reading and skimmed to the end.
    The sentiment however,I agree with completely.
    By the way...its only a game so don't let it ruin your life.
    There will always be some arsehole that wants to throw around there imagined self importance...give them the correct response...ignore them and get on with the fun.

This month’s TIMED race takes us to the shallow waters of Palk Bay located between India and Sri Lanka. Sail the impressive MC 38 around a roughly 140 nm course through two narrow channels before returning to the start/finish line in Jaffna.
This is a TIMEDrace so you may RE-REGISTER HEREto try again after finishing a run. You will have two weeks to test your skill and decision making after the race opens.

The British Isles Circumnavigation 2026


The British Isles Circumnavigation is here! Inviting skippers to take on an epic 1,720nm clockwise voyage around Britain and Ireland! Starting and finishing in Cowes, the course passes some of the most iconic landmarks in offshore sailing, including Fastnet Rock, Tearaght Lighthouse, Black Rock, St. Kilda and Muckle Flugga before the long run home.
