I´m not sure what you mean by the arrows behind, but the curve in the line is definatley not an optical illusion.

But now that my brain has woken up fully I get how the twa predictor is working, and its really cool.

One additional improvement that should be applauded in the upgrade is the significant improvement in response time when setting a new twa or cc, great job!!

It does curve if you set a course by TWA... curves to show effect of future wind direction on your course.... set a CC course and its still dead straight.

Sozi: I know OP was about old predictor (wast posted before new one came out!), but same holds... the hour marks werre equally spaced on that one to, again implying constant BS/TWS

Natuna Sea Race 2026


At 4.0N 108.2E lies the island of Natuna Besar, Great Natuna, surrounded by at least 154 islands, of which 127 uninhabited, Indonesia’s Natuna Regency, and all around this archipelago, the Natuna Sea, bordered by Borneo to the east, the Java Sea to the south, and the Malay peninsula to the west, and extending north to cross a disputed international border with China into the South China Sea. And it’s a border that matters, there’s gas here! But why worry, let’s race – 2050nm in our goo’ol’ Open 60s in between the production platforms, prowling destroyers and submarines.
