Thanks Kipper.
I get agreement in client, AGL, and raw nmea data in QT. It’s just the boats instruments that have integer TWS only. I think it’s therefore a QT problem or I have an incorrect setting somewhere. I will try a new load and see if I get the same then.
Same issue here, can you let us know if you find the solution? Cheers.

I have the latest version. I noticed something strange. The wind is currently 7.238knts in AGL, 7.24 in SOL and 7 in qt. However, if I open the polar in qt (from boat settings or clicking on the compass) the TWS is shown as 7.00knts and then if I turn off nmea, it then shows 7.24 knts. I wish I could go back one version of qt to try it there.

Edit: installed 5.9_7 P2 and have decimal points in instruments back.

Well done John,
I have reverted to 5.9-7 as well and now get full TWS.
It was the same on the IOS version as well.
I thought I was going mad with searching strange NMEA settings!
Me too, I thought I was going mad searching the settings. Did discover a hundred other options I'd never looked at before though. :)
Thanks Kipper, and sorry for the delay in replying. Attached the shell log, for the AGL_4_0_2. All I get is a gray flat screen when open the graphic interface. Turned openGL engine on an off but nothing changes.

On a separate question, what is the font you use on the AGL3_2_2? I may have to install it as my machine is showing a hard to read one (see picture attached).

Thanks much

1. seeU, an exception is being thrown by the low level openGL binding that I use, and I have no idea why. Can you please copy the feedback from the shell, drop it into a file and post here. Secondly, try turning off the openGL engine (on the Parameters tab) and see if you get a different result.

Vuelta de la Isla Saltes Sprint 2025

Welcome to Spain for our first sprint of Q4. This is a traditional 20 NM local race around Huelva in SW Spain. Chances are a quick circumnavigation will involve some upwind work weaving your way round the mud flats of the upper reaches of the Huelva delta in our Fox 9.50. Fair winds!

Camel or Balloon - Khartoum to N'Djamena

As there is a lull in the calendar, your PRO has decided to risk an experiment – a balloon race over land, using a workaround to eliminate the recognition of water/land transitions. If it fails, the server may crash, and we abandon PDQ, hopefully after leg 7 of the ABS race to Suez has been decided, and before the start of the 1st OCC of Q4. Camel or Balloon – c 1000 nm from a field on the north bank of the Blue Nile at Khartoum to a field on the north bank of the Chari River at N'Djamena!

Africa by Sea 2025 - Mogadishu to Suez

Nearly there; only 2500nm to go, round the Horn and up the Red Sea to Suez into what will more than likely be more headwinds for this sixth leg of our African circumnavigation, to be followed in September by a final sneaky dash up the canal back to where we started all those months ago. We’ll be sailing a not entirely appropriate-for-upwind-work 60ft Trimaran!
