	rrrrrrrrrrrricos... BRILLIANT footage... just the best. FYI the audio on the first YouTube has been muted due to copyright (but at least the vid itself hasn't been pulled)! Would be fun to play AC Racing on SOL... we could run a sort-of regatta perhaps over the space of a few hours? Folks would need to commit to participating but.. is deffo doable! SOL races are made up of several elements - to ensure optimal sailing conditions, someone would have to dictate to me the precise spot on earth and the exact coords (Decimal degrees) for me to get it set up on-the-run ... but the world IS our oyster so this shouldn't be too difficult. 	It will be fascinating to see a SOL version of the America's Cup-----when our wind drops down to our usual (unfortunately) 4-5 Knots. If it breaks, it's not strong enough--if it doesn't, it's too heavy.

	I would love to see the same polars for races 18-19. OTUSA was getting faster and faster upwind. The best line from the audio feed was by Tom Slingsby to Spithill and crew, "Don't be afraid to go fast here".

Welcome to the first of three virtual Tall Ships Races on the Baltic Sea which are being organized in-real-life by Sail Training InternationalThis first race is from Klaipeda, Lithuania to Helsinki, Finland; circa 240nm in Sailonline’s stately fanciful Full Rigger.

Haida Gwaii 2024

We will end the second quarter of the ARCH competition with a 390nm race around the Haida Gwaii islands (literally "Islands of the Haida people"), also known as the Queen Charlotte Islands. This is an archipelago located on the northern Pacific coast of Canada. In SOL, we last raced on this route in 2012 and few people remember what happened there. Prepare your Riptide 50 well, it's going to be a lot of fun.

Newport Bermuda Race 2024

The 636-mile biennial Newport Bermuda Race is one of the oldest regularly scheduled ocean races, and with the Fastnet Race and the Sydney to Hobart Race, it is one of the three great classic races of the yachting world. Founded in 1906, this 53rd running of the Bermuda Race can again also be participated in online.
Entries are invited for one of the four divisions:
