@Aaron - The question was refering to the old predictor..

@Pergite: I'm sure it does!!! weather, windshift ect..

Those guys are somewhat crazy :)

And this is not simply cool: it is amazing!
    Almost too good!

    Wonderful work Jakob et al!

Guess you missunderstood my answer, Jakob - I was refering to "how to put it in a new manual"
sorry - wasn't too clear myself.
language is full of obstacles. *stumble*
    :)

Yeah - it is somewhat tricky to get this one a hundred percent clear.
Should I get an "inspiration" (lol) about it, I'll let you know.

    Hi
    .. first of all:
great site ! So a big "Hurray" for the brains+fingers behind the game: Tack sa mycket.

Finally decided to read the manual and kind of got a simple question, yet tricky to express:

"In front of your boat is a "predictor" showing where your boat would be in 6 hours if the conditions where frozen as they are right now"

Suppose wind would be frozen and the weather shows e.g. 10knts at t=0-2h and 20knts at t=2-6h along the cours.

Is the length of the "predictor" calculated on( v=10 for 6h) or (v=10 for 2h + v=20 for 4h) ?

Guess it is option (1) but just wanted to be sure.

Tobruk to Iskenderun 2026

Welcome to the fourth of our nine races across the length and breadth of the Magical Mediterranean Sea, and the second that is not in partnership with a real-life event, this time for good reason, which we won’t get into here. From Tobruk to Iskenderun it’s 670nm in length, with the added complication that the island of Cyprus will be in your way. Hoping, possibly forlornly, for plenty of downwind sailing, we’ll take the Lagoon 55 for the voyage!

Tasmania to Kamchatka 2026

Welcome to yet another all-new route. Tasmania to Kamchatka, part of our Ocean Championship and also the third leg of the ROW (Round the Old World) series. Be aware of the obstacles on the way, likely to split the fleet. It's like X:mas to X:mas, crossing the same waters, navigating the same archipelagos. This second race of OCQ2 2026 will be sailed in our revised 'version 2' Imoca 60 Foil. Race #2031
