Any idea why i can't see other boats on work PC? They don't show up on map or leaderboard, everything else works fine.
Sounds very odd, perhaps your corporate proxy only blocks that call to the server? Why and how I have no idea =)
Great job on the latest updates Kalle ... everything is looking good now! Thanks
Price has the Word!

Very nice.
I agree!
Smooth!

Snyggt jobbat med tracks och färger och grids och allt. Otroligt att det går att uppgradera tjänsten så kraftfullt under pågående tävling.

Jag är imponerad!

Suggestion: on the weather slide can you add a figure (in brackets?) to show difference from current time? When checking the weather I usually want to see "it will be like this in four hours?" - not "What's the weather at ten o'clock?"..
Thanks all!!!

Good suggestion regarding the time slider!

...one of the guys behind the game...
Hi .Once again pen to paper.I hate computors, but do enjoy the game, but this Beta I have to admit is completely spoiling my(me)game.Firstly the actual course is so small to watch and use,it is only about a third or even less of screen area. The polar is half covered by the advert to join SYC,which makes it useless, and bigger than the course itself.I understand you have to have adverts etc for sponsorship etc,but to the detriment of the game,I dont understand. The coloured tracks are very pretty, but clutter up what you can only just about see,on the old system track came on when boat was selected. Its quite possible that its my system that is faulty, but since everything else works perfectly I have my doubts.Zoom you may say,ok but then you can only see the boats and notthe facilities for adjusting.
If you can advise me on any way of improving things or what Im doing wrong here I would be mpost grateful!!
Meanwhile happy sailing to the "contented"Beta users and sympathy to users who may have my problems if any!!
Thank you
Bugsie

The SYC logo should not cover the polar. Have you maximized your browser window sized? I have even further optimized vertical space in my yet unreleased version, hope that will help. I might draw even less traces by default, not sure here, myself I think the traces look pretty =)

Haida Gwaii 2024

We will end the second quarter of the ARCH competition with a 390nm race around the Haida Gwaii islands (literally "Islands of the Haida people"), also known as the Queen Charlotte Islands. This is an archipelago located on the northern Pacific coast of Canada. In SOL, we last raced on this route in 2012 and few people remember what happened there. Prepare your Riptide 50 well, it's going to be a lot of fun.

Newport Bermuda Race 2024

The 636-mile biennial Newport Bermuda Race is one of the oldest regularly scheduled ocean races, and with the Fastnet Race and the Sydney to Hobart Race, it is one of the three great classic races of the yachting world. Founded in 1906, this 53rd running of the Bermuda Race can again also be participated in online.
Entries are invited for one of the four divisions:
Double-Handed Division:
Jeanneau Sun Fast 3600
St. David's Lighthouse Division:
Santa Cruz 52
Gibbs Hill Lighthouse Division:
Judel Vrolijk 62
Finisterre Division:
Riptide 50
Details for each yacht are available in the ‘Particulars’ links below. As in real life, you can only sail one boat in one division, so choose your virtual yacht carefully, and because of the unusual (for SOL) 4-division nature of the event, please note results will not count towards any Sailonline rankings.
