I suspect that the "open racing committee" was a solid peeking hole into SOL. But I'm never going back.

Now WHO gives a flying F**k what that ripp off game is up and about lol....those who discovered SOL really won't go there anymore.

But i DO regret that "we" aren't sailing the VOR using different race name..

Stand by people....Last week I sent a mail to our Sol committee regarding the VORG....Something interesting is being looked at behind the scenes.

Dont ask me for details yet. We are still investigating our options!!!

The Volvo Ocean Race doesn't begin until November 2011...and interestingly enough SOL's own Earths Oceans Kiwi Double race, deferred from this year, has a similar course :-D

We invite you to another race, which will kick off the third quarter of our ARCH series. We'll set off from Marstrand, Sweden, which, along with Skagen, Denmark, marks the line commonly recognised as the border separating the Baltic Sea from the North Sea. The 650nm route will take our Ripitide 50 across the North Sea and the English Channel to Cowes, England. Watch out for the fast ferries crossing the Channel from Calais to Dover 😊.

Welcome to the third of four virtual Tall Ships Races in European waters which are concurrently being organized in-real-life by Sail Training International . This third race is from Aberdeen in Scotland east across the North Sea to Norway’s Kristiansand; circa 330nm in Sailonline’s magnificent 90m Barque.
