On August 1st at 13.02 hrs, the Mini 650 race Les Sables d'Olonne - Horta - Les Sable d'Olonne will start. Apparently, this race is more demanding than the Mini-transat from last year.
Apart from that, I would love to compete with my uncle: me from my pc and he in a mini 650.

Salut!

For SOLto race an IRL race at the same time and using the same name we would need to have the permission of the real-life race organisers. If this is something you can obtain in time, then we could perhaps set this one up as a race for Sunday, 1 August.

Otherwise, we can set up the course if you provide a Google Earth file (see other threads and the top of this Forum on how to do that) OR provide us with precise coordinates for the start-waypoints-finish and we can create a SOL race, using a name other than that of the real-life one (to avoid copyright issues) and we can race it another time.

Would be great if you can get permission though!!

Falklands to Tasmania 2026

Cross the Convergence 2026 - Guam to Ouvéa


The third race of our series of ocean voyages across the World’s convergence zones takes us southeastward now down the Pacific, from Guam’s Apra Harbour at 13.5 degrees North, back across the Equator to the glorious New Caledonian resort island of Ouvéa, on the edge of the Tropic of Capricorn at 20.5 degrees South.
