Vous avez dites "I would add a variation to my path: the possibility of move north and south of Ré island (between WP4 and WP5), with
the requirement to pass the door 5. " Je ne suis pas sure quelle est votre intention avec l'Ile de Re. A ce moment, on peut voile a gauche ou bien a droit de l'Ile de Re (c'est parce qu'l n'y a pas du "waypoint"). C'est votre plan? Les courses "timed" utilisent beaucoup de capacite au server de SOL.. mais, oui, s'il est possible, votre projet sera une course "timed"!!! La date au fin d'aout est mieux - samedi, le 28 aout - a commencer a quelle heure svp? Par hazard j'ai mon anniversaire au 29e et j'aime beaucoup le60ft Cat ET les courses "timed" --------------- You said "I would add a variation to my path: the possibility of move north and south of Ré island (between WP4 and WP5), with the requirement to pass the door 5. " I am not sure what you mean to do with Ile de Re. Right now, it is possible to sail to the left or the right of the island (because there is no waypoint on it). Is this your plan? Timed races use up a lot of server capacity but, sure,if possible we will run this as a timed race. An end of august date is best - Saturday, 27 August - what time would you like the race to start? |

Yes, it's necessary for ships to pass on the right or on the left of Ré island. and if I understand your message, it is.
Regarding the date of the race, and after consulting my friends virtual browsers, the best date would be at the end of September, leaving a Friday at 19:00 GMT. You have not answered regarding the poster presentation. Do you think I created one and in what file format? Thank you |

---------------------------- OK - the course is confirmed! The date - your preference for the end of September is fine - Friday 24 September at 1900utc is doable! As for a "poster"? If you could come with a small description, like those on the RH side of this screen (for VicMaui, Gotland and Ouzo) that would be great! Is this race your idea? not a course in reality? |

OK for Friday, September 24 at 19h UTC
I write a little description as you ask me. This race is a race that I imagined, it does not exist in the reality. I have tested this race by enrolling in a race on the website "Virtual loup de mer" and diverting the ship to take this test ... Is it possible for me to test this race in the coming days to see if it is nteresting with this boat, or whether to put another boat? In any case, thank you for your kindness and your responsiveness to my posts |

----------------------- When races are created and become visible in SOL, and the boat "sol" (password:sol) is registered then it is possible for anyone to log in and practice. I can, however, put a message on the SOL homepage saying "sol boat is race-testing, please do not log in", but that is all that is possible at the moment. Your choice of a trimaran is excellent! |

-------------------------------- Good morning Do - thank you for the race descrption. I am now in the process of setting this race up in SOL. Just one question .. about it being a timed race. Right now it is not possible to practice before a timed race - when it is open it begins immediately. I believe that the absence of practice time would be a pity because there is always a lot of pleasure derived from exploring a new course. The race can always be run again in the future - once setup it becomes part of the SOL archive. |

Hello RC!
Do not worry, it does not matter that the race is not timed run in the first place! We shall see later if there is a possibility! I am very pleased that this race is scheduled Sept. 24 and So I look forward to the start ... And if it is possible to test very soon, I expect thy news. Good day! |

New Ice Age 2026 - Longyearbyen to Browerville
Although we have by no means exhausted the possibilities of ice boating on lakes at high latitudes or high altitudes, it was noticeable that as our 2025 Series progressed, there were calls from time to time for longer-distance challenges, and so in response to these calls we will pretend that global warming has reversed and as a result the coastal waters of Antarctica and Russia and Canada have fully (and smoothly!) frozen over offering us the possibility of a 4-race New Ice Age series in our trusted no-PL DN machines. Our first leg takes us 2600nm from Svalbard’s Longyearbyen east to North Alaska’s Browerville. You’ll be a few days on the ice, so dress warmly and take some provisions; go!

Cross the Convergence 2026 - Robinson Crusoe to Galapagos

Welcome to our first race of a new series of ocean voyages across the World’s convergence zones, this first race taking you north from south of the Tropic of Capricorn to the Equator-straddling Galapagos, home of magical iguanas and other exotic fauna (but no mythical kings, Dory) Departing from the island where in 1704 adventurer Alexander Selkirk inspired Daniel Defoe to write the best-seller "The Life and Adventures of Robinson Crusoe", by debarking off the unsound "HMS Cinque Ports", four months before she foundered off the coast of present-day Colombia, we will sail the 2200nm in our decidedly sounder and faster than the " Cinque Ports",
