6. news 31.2
7. Smo 31.8
8. africa 32.2
9. Vic 33.8

MATCHRACE FINISH CHANGE!!!

As the original finish is going to prove to be too far to go, the race will now finish by running ashore at 43.54 / 7.04 AFTER rounding the Iles de Lerins.

PRE-SLEEP RANKING

As time was pressing and some were already thinking of heading to sleep or on to tomorrow's start point, the final Ranking (based on DTG to the larger of the finish SLIs) was:

1. stoerte 6.3nm
2. Perenkist AND Rainbow 6.6nm
4. glynnwi 7.2nm
5. Smo 7.5nm
6. africa 8.9nm
7. robert 9.6nm
8. Vic 15.8nm
9. news 21.1nm
10. canuk - heading into the wide blue yonder!

This is a little skewed as both SLIs need to be rounded and all except Rainbow are more offshore, hence better placed to make the approach to the finish point.

With some heading off to other destinations overnight, the first finishers at the matchrace finish point were:

1. stoerte
2. Smo
3. africa
4. glynnwi (slightly off finish point)
5. Rainbow (just about to finish)

Perenkist didn't round the islands but arrived before everyone (hopefully got the bbq and grog ready!).
