Well done Jakob and Kalle
:)

Agree wholeheartedly. I suspect its been a lot of work to get it back up and running! Well done.
Good work guys, but it's a pitty the Zilt Race is cancelled... It costs me 3 nights sleep to come to a 10th place and I was still improving...
"Sailing is an Art"
Well, I was 4th ... ;)

Life is hard sometimes! :)
Right Cajun, I saw you coming up and away ;) I was quite happy with my 15th at the crash - after one digit rankings the night before - and I could just loose... But I think, this opportunity, beeing <#20 will not come back for me... :)
Same here: A lot of hard work and sleepless nights for nothing.

However, the joy of seeing SOL alive and breathing again helps. SOL withdrawal is bad :-)

Thanks for all your hard work Admin.
Hello Kalle and Jacob!!

Thanks for the hard work. I have a question related to the crash. How safe is the hard and software from an uploaded virus? This forum and the ability to upload files and photos, does it place the kit at risk? Just a thought!
Some sources point to an SQL injection vulnerability in Sailplanner, which appears to be run by Jacob and Kalle - on the same server?
The vulnerability is described for version 0.3a. Other versions may be affected. Here are links to the warnings:

Great to know it's all working again. Good effort guys. I feel for SOL putting this on for ZILT and then it crashing. Hope that large fleet all comes back.

I too had a few short nights and was on for my best result at #8 but other races will come...and others will go...:)

Steve

@Mouthansar

No, that's a different Sailplanner made by someone called relative.nl, which is pointed out in the bulletins themselves.

The Vineyard Race 2025

For the first time since first hosting a virtual Vineyard in cooperation with Long Island's Stamford Yacht Club back in 2010, due to an operational calendaring error, Sailonline has missed the start of the real life race, the USA’s Labor Day weekend this year unusually falling across the turn of August. Silly SOL! So, a week late please join us anyway for a virtual rerun of Stamford’s iconic annual overnighter from their club line out the sound to Buzzard's Bay Light near Martha's Vineyard Island and back again, leaving Block Island to starboard. This year, Sailonline is making its magic MC 38 available to competitors, a race boat with a quirky polar that will require you to stay wide awake as you speed around the c 250 nm course, in rockstar style!
