Could I found out what exactly I set up as delayed command to be executed in OSTAR race 2009-06-04 about 3.00 UTC and what exactly happened to my boat? Was I just sleepy when set the command up or was it a bug or was it a glitch?

To illustrate my question I attach a screenshot. Right after I found my boat on a very wrong (about right the opposite to what it should have been) course in the morning I tried to alter it but got an error. Note the TWA I tried to set and the error returned. Flash page reload fixed the error. Since the buggy session was the same I used to make last delayed command could it be a bug or a glitch in the software?

I think I tracked down the problem.

Looking at your command history the command was given as a cc. This also explains the warning for a invalid twa of 200+
I have sent you the mail with the data I pulled out of the db.

I will make a bug report of this to track down this one.

In the mean time please make sure you check the command given in the delayed tab, this pulls the command back up from the server so a good manual verify.

Yes, I send the delayed command as TWA 41.3 and it set as CC 41.3. I think I checked the delayed command, but was satisfied with the fact the command was there and didn't check the details of it.

I think I have had the same problem before (couple of times during half a year or so), but I was never able to come that close to a bug report. :) Hope you fix the bug and thank you for help.

It’s 1900nm and we’ll be glad to be sailing our comfortable and sturdy Xp-55, as we will certainly experience more headwinds!

Isle of Wight RTI Sprint 2025


Welcome to the Isle of Wight in the British Isles. A past home to Queen Victoria and the foundation of the America's Cup when yacht racing became popular in the 1800's. This particular race was last raced on SOL in 2012 to follow Soler JuJu sailing around the island. We return, long overdue, to race our final Q2 sprint around the island.
