	Please note that if you are going to be creating a team boat for this race, it is Sailonline convention that: 1. everyone steering needs to already be registered on Sailonline (ideally also be SYC members) 2. a complete list of boats/names racing in the team must be posted 3. none of the individual boats in the team may race independently of the team in that race. Will be fun if this takes off

	I think this race will work out quite well---IF you are confined to bed for several days and suffer from insomnia. I will attempt it, but having some sort of minimal life to live as well, I do not think I will be in the first 300. If it breaks, it's not strong enough--if it doesn't, it's too heavy.

Halifax to Hooper Bay 2024

And now it’s Autumn in the Arctic, the sun is permanently below the horizon, but during the day, from c 0900 to c 1700 local time, there is some twilight – nautical twilight, not to be confused with civil twilight which is brighter. Having receded all summer, ice is starting to return to the numerous straits and bays of Canada’s North West Passage. High time then to set off on our last leg of the High Latitudes Series from Halifax in Nova Scotia to Alaska’s Hooper Bay. It’s 3850nm and we need to hurry, so we’ll take the Pelagic 77!
