I start from desktop, cleared cache and every other bit of advice people have given me. I still can not get the new interface to work on my new comp with Windows 8
I had the same problem when I used it on my Win8 laptop - have you looked at the other thread on the errors? I use Firefox and this is what I posted in the other thread.

I just tried logging in on my Win8 laptop, got the rsl error. manually typed in the 'beta=true' and was able to login after a popup from Adobe asked if I wanted to allow saving - after that I was able to login to the race as normal.

Might be a permissions problem in Adobe?

Alan
Thanks Alan, but I have given SOL permission. I have no problems with videos or the old interface, just the new one.

Does anyone here now what to do about this?

Flex Error #1001: Digest mismatch with RSL http://www.sailonline.org/static/windy/framework_3.5.0.12683.swf. Redeploy the matching RSL or relink your application with the matching library.

We are know the flex error is giving trouble atm. A lot of people had things clear up by using the previous beta link and accepting the permissions popup from adobe.

Try this: http://www.sailonline.org/windy/run/[insert race inumber here]/?beta=true

This is not a windows 8 problem only so do have a look here as well: http://www.sailonline.org/board/thread/8197/rsl-error-when-loading-latest-client-p/?page=11#post-10205

Try this: http://www.sailonline.org/windy/run/[insert race inumber here]/?beta=true
That almost works, I get stuck in the weather download, it never loads. I do get the interface, just no map and winds.
