I'm still sailing in leg 1, had to reboot my pc this am and now I only get a timer on screen.Can anyone help??

Leg 1 Would have closed to make room on the server for other races. Your ranking will be what it was when the race closed.

Hello Martiynq,

Sally is correct we have closed Leg 1 as we noted in the result blog post a week ago. This is to make room for the next leg and shift the focus to the next leg.

I can understand you would like to have finished the remaining part into Cape Town. I hope to see you in Leg 2 for the next part of this series.

"All remaining boats will be able to sail the remainder of this leg until the race is closed on 7 December @1000utc Keep in mind that you don't need to finish to be ranked. All ranks are kept at race close. Registration will close a few days earlier 4 December @1000utc, and we will open Leg 2 for registration on the same day."
I am a ex-admin of SOL who joins in from time to time.

Regata dell’Accademia Navale 2026

Welcome to Sailonline’s partnership with the City of Livorno (Leghorn say the English) in cooperation with the local yacht clubs and the Italian Navy, offering all the online opportunity to race the famous Regata dell’Accademia Navale - 630nm in length. Starting and finishing in Livorno, this year the race takes you the length and breadth of the Tyrrhenian Sea via little Mortorio (Mortoriotto) off Sardinia to Capri and home again to Livorno. This race also counts towards Sailonline’s Magical Mediterranean Series and the SuperBuddy title. Online, you will be sailing a Mini 6.50, to give you a match against several of the real-life entrants, which you will be able to track on-screen!

Generalfeldmarschall Johannes Erwin Eugen Rommel may have been that chivalrous, gallant tank commander of legend, led astray by the Prussian military traditions of loyalty and chain of command, but one thing he wasn’t, was mad. So, let’s do it anyway – not stick to the coast and the battle for logistical superiority – but depart the oases of Siwa south west into the desert for Agadez and its uranium. And let’s go by balloon, it’s only 2500km (1250nm)!
