What can I do and change in the setings to make SOL auto update the map view in races?
I'm on a company computer with Winblows7, Internet Exploder v8 behind massive firewalls which I can't change.

Right now I have to send a new CC or TWA and then reload the page to see the result on the predictor line.

How long do you wait before reloading - the client SHOULD show the new command result within 30 seconds (and most likely < 15 seconds). Are you behind some caching web proxy?
Hej Kalle,
I sometimes leave it running to see what happens or when there's no immediate course change to be made. I've then seen that the boats stop moving but the calculated TWA line is slowly shifting position. From being clear of land it's slowly creeping across islands etc. After reloading I see the true TWA line and I'm still clear.
The chat isn't updating either.
Not sure if the company has caching servers but it's possible since the net runs on a satellite connection.

(I'm typing this on my MacBook Pro on Safari without any issues) The PC in the control room is locked to running IE and I can't bring the laptop to the engine room ;)

Halifax to Hooper Bay 2024

And now it’s Autumn in the Arctic, the sun is permanently below the horizon, but during the day, from c 0900 to c 1700 local time, there is some twilight – nautical twilight, not to be confused with civil twilight which is brighter. Having receded all summer, ice is starting to return to the numerous straits and bays of Canada’s North West Passage. High time then to set off on our last leg of the High Latitudes Series from Halifax in Nova Scotia to Alaska’s Hooper Bay. It’s 3850nm and we need to hurry, so we’ll take the Pelagic 77!
