I can't get the new user interface to work on internet explorer.But it is working fine on Firefox!!! Any ideas???

Perhaps you need to clear IE's cache - which tyou may have already done for FF, or had size set smaller than the SOL client...

Hi Sally,

Can you give us some more info on the problem.
What exactly is not working when you open Sol on IE?
Does the old one load or is it another issue.

Hi Crew!

Thank´s for this HUGE upgrade!
I haven´t tried all yet, but I like the new "hold down" zoom.

Zoom - hold down the [+] or - buttons for continuous zoom in or zoom out. You can still always click if you prefer to do this or of course use a combination of "Hold Zoom" and individual clicks.


But do we really need zoom in 154 steps?
Feels a little bit over kill.

...and why is my text always disapear when I click on Preview?

...forgot. I would prefer numbered steps of the zoom. With 154 zoom steps I don´t know how much I have zoomed... and then I don´t know how long the next boat jump will be close to an island or tacking in front of a boat. :(

I cant get the new user interface to work on IE. I have it working fine on firefox. I have done all the usual empting, so not really sure why!!
Everything else is fine with the game on IE. Just the same as it was before.

Starting in Douala, Cameroon the 170 nm course takes us around the island of Bioko with its Caldera and tropical rainforests finishing in Calabar, Nigeria. Natuna Sea Race 2026


At 4.0N 108.2E lies the island of Natuna Besar, Great Natuna, surrounded by at least 154 islands, of which 127 uninhabited, Indonesia’s Natuna Regency, and all around this archipelago, the Natuna Sea, bordered by Borneo to the east, the Java Sea to the south, and the Malay peninsula to the west, and extending north to cross a disputed international border with China into the South China Sea. And it’s a border that matters, there’s gas here! But why worry, let’s race – 2050nm in our goo’ol’ Open 60s in between the production platforms, prowling destroyers and submarines.

Welcome to South Africa and RCYC's classic transatlantic Cape2Rio Race from Cape Town, South Africa, to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. First run in 1971, this run is buddied with the IRL, Cape2Rio 2025 arranged by the Royal Cape Yacht Club with the cooperation of the
Iate Clube do Rio de Janeiro Despite this being announced the 2025 race (starting dec. 27) it is the 2026 SOL championship kickoff. This virtual version, will be raced once again in Mark Mills' 74ft speedster, the stunning C2R74.
