Please would you provide a little bit more information about SJORA and if you can let us know your name/role within that organisation.

I am sure you can appreciate that to avoid unpleasantness or breaches of copyright, it is important for SOL to obtain relevant permissions from race organisers/clubs before setting up races with the same name as races in reality.

Thanks!

Howdy!! The third of your SJORA races is now set up.

To check it out log in as the sol boat:

Username: sol
Password: sol

and then click here

It would perhaps be nice to have maybe one more race for the SJORA series (three at present) - unless you are happy with these three?

We must bear in mind that there are other FL races in SOL and, of course, there is the rest of the world for SOL to play in.

:-)

Okay, thanks. I will check it out.

I will design another race down around florida, based on a real race again.

Thanks

Mad Max by Balloon 2026 - Across the Outback

Mad Max Rockatansky doesn’t get to go in a balloon in any of the Legends of the Wasteland, and the Wasteland is not necessarily the Outback of Australia, but Mel Gibson and film director George Miller indubitably are… of Australia, and ballooning as reconnaissance is a main feature of the Mad Max spin-off video game, so here goes: 1500nm in a balloon from somewhere on the edge of the Outback, Goondiwindi, to cross a finish line at Fitzroy Crossing, somewhere on the edge of the Outback!
