maybe. I don't what that is. On my school, we have a web login secure guard thing, mayebe it is a proxy there, but home, it is not i think.

If using the same computer clear cache. If different computers, uhm, I'm not sure. How long are you waiting for the download? On slow connections there is sometimes quite some time before everything is loaded.

I have tried on 4 different computers. My chached is clared, and the problem is on some races, and the game don't be finnish to download the weather thing.

Right now, christmas to christmas work fine, but Norrtelje Maze Race just stand there and load all the time...

I can take a screendump and upload if you want:)

It sounds like a slow internet connection, the map sizes can vary greatly, but I might be wrong :)

Here is a screendump of the problem...

It may be related to the size of the map. the same problem happend when I played cape town to buenos aires...

Looking at screen capture, I see a couple of things that might cause problems. 1) Norton is running some operation. A lot of Antivirus programs will suck memory big time, and if running updates and/or updating definitions will chew up bandwidth even on hi-speed connections. 2) looks like you are also streaming audio (and vid?) on privatradio. Also a big chewer of memory and bandwidth.
If you happen to be using 3G or 4G plug-in antenna to access internet. there might not be enough bandwidth to handle all the demand.

Plus your battery is getting low. :-)

Dyer Dhow Derby 2026


Most winter weekends, SOLer wsguerin and his friends at the Mamaroneck Frostbite Association venture forth on Long Island Sound to race Dyer Dhows, originally designed as WWII tenders. Indestructible little boats, great comradeship and serious short sharp races of 10 to 20 minutes duration. Sailonline now invites you to experience the joys of the Dhow in winter, virtually, by way of a slightly longer 14nm race: from Mamaroneck to Execution Rocks, over to the Gong Buoy and back to Mamaroneck. And if the wind pipes up to 20kn and beyond, you'll find SOL's customized polar will plane, rather than nosedive!

Iceland to the Falklands 2026

Welcome to an all-new route, the first of three Round the 'Old World' of Europe, Africa, Australia and Asia. To give each leg of the ROW a bit of length we'll try to hug the coasts as little as possible, so starting in Iceland our first leg of the series, which will also be the final leg of our Quarter 1 Ocean Championships takes us 7200nm to the Falklands, the full length of the Atlantic end to end.
