Board » Technical Support » First 44.7 Polar

Hello,

I was wondering if there is a .CSV copy of a first 44.7 polar floating around. My son is sailing an IRL race this coming weekend and I thought it'd be nice to give him some optimum data.
As I am yet to get any routing solution I have created a spreadsheet to interact with the polar - a manual routing solution so to speak so the SOL CSV version would be good for me.

Thanks in advance
something like this?

Thanks but I was particularly after the SOL format version as I have created a spreadsheet to interact with it.
I've found the PDF version but cannot find the .CSV version
I am also looking for .csv files, not only for the 44.7, but for ALL the boats that has been used for SOL racing.
It would be nice if there was a kind of "library" for these csv-files.
Can anybody help?
well; you could login to brainaids site as sol every race from now on and download the wanted polar from there. Should be possible the moment a race is announced.

library away anywhere you want and there is a start of your collection...
Already done, but it takes ages....

I found this one.

When you download spinnacer, it'll come with over 40 polars in csv format, the first 44.7 is one of them.

Viva Roddo and all.

Atttached goes the FIRST44.7 Poalr data in the qTVlm format (diferent from the one used for SPINNACER).

The Vineyard Race 2026

For the 16th consecutive year, our SOLers are invited to tackle this iconic 250nm overnighter. The classic route charges out through the sound, leaves Buzzards Bay Light to starboard, rounds Block Island to starboard, and heads home.

This year's weapon of choice is the Beneteau First 47.7. A proven performer since its 2012 SOL debut, this Farr-designed cruiser/racer excels at leading real and virtual handicap fleets. Success will demand sharp tactical navigation, so watch the polars closely to conquer the sound's shifting winds!

New Ice Age 2026 - Scott Base to Neumayer Station

To complete our DN circumnavigation of Antarctica and our 4-race ice-boat marathon series, we continue clockwise, now departing from Scott Base back to Neumayer Station. It’s about 3500nm back as well, which, as said if there’s wind at all, should, well-wrapped in your DN-cockpits, not take you much more than five days. And remember: charts down here are unreliable – what is land and what is ice?!
