Hmm. Maybe not fog, but "Stealth mode" would be really great. That would be that you could "dissapear" from anyone more than, say, 15 nm away from you. So that you could try to lose those "shadows" that sometimes appear. This time it's not a prolem for me...

We are trying to set day/night to the position of the boat. If there is a bug I apologize and will try to fix it.

..maybe we should have fog on the screen too... and snow and rain. ;-)

What are these wet things you talk about?
I don't see these when I am sailing IRL. ;^)) especially in the Southern Indian Ocean

If it breaks, it's not strong enough!
My AutoPilot gets to enjoy the daylight setting. Hopefully the night mode will be optional very soon. Thanks for the OTHER advancements. ;)
I am having a hard time seeing the wind directions in the funny night shades. When the wind is very light it is very hard to see them at all.

There seems to be a lot of dissatisfaction aimed at the developers for giving us the day/night mode.

It should be remembered that this feature came about because some players asked for it. The developers did not suck the idea out of thin air.

Give them a break folks, they are doing their best and need all of our support.

Personally I like the night mode better, since its better contrast between the wind arrows and the background. Also you only get dots for boats and don't have to see the traces of the top boats all the time, something that makes the windarrows impossible to see in that area.

So in my opinion night mode is superior to day mode in some aspects.

So thanks for building a great game guys!
