Based on observations it is quite clear that the real boats sailing VOR is faster than the boats that we have here in the game. There might be several reasons for this but regardless the reason SOL has decided to give the game-boats a boost. The changes are already implemented and all you have to do to see the new polars is to restart your client. Happy sailing!

According to this; please reduce the bizzar delays and lost of performance at tack and gybe! 15 min delay with a reduction of 10% performance is far from relistic.Let's say 3min and 3% at gybe and less at tack.

Kamchatsky to Tromsoe 2024

Just before the light failed entirely in Antarctica, Skip Novak managed to get his Pelagic 77 out of the ice and north up the Pacific to Kamchatsky. The sun is shining (24/7) and not a penguin to be seen, and Skip believes the Norh East Passage is ice-free (sufficiently) to attempt it, so all aboard for a c 4250nm voyage from east to west across the top of Siberia, Russia and Norway to Tromsoe!
