If it is - where can I download it?
Now, I paid for membership, and still can't find a downloadable client for mobile phones. Is it only the web interface that is available? I got the impression that you had made a java app or something to install on the phone..
I am afraid that the mobile client you have seen on http://www.sailonline.org/m is the only one we got.
...one of the guys behind the game...
Is it working in I-phone?
Is it working in I-phone?
yea, its just a regular html page, any browser should be able to access it,
I was away Tuesday and Wednesday and had to use the mobile client (on my Blackberry) for the most part of the Fastnet race and finished 19th not too bad considering. I found it a bit difficult to set the correct course, having to guess-temate the compass course, and as you can see a little wobbly track- from rounding the last mark and headland before the finish. Only been able to be on-line for short periods was a factor to the difficulty.
Not seeing the ends of the finish line was a bit scary. Maybe a boat to next way-point info could help wen inputing heading but this is null and void if a headland is in the way.
Take it "ESEA" go sailing
