The intrepid matchracers are gathering informally at Faro for a quick run round Gotland (your choice of right-about or left-about) and backto Faro.

The start was a little staggered with DCs kicking in and racers starting from slightly different positions but...



and by 2320 the rankings from sassy were

sassy63 23:19: STANDING IN MATCHRACE: DTG RC 111.5 nm, smo AND sassy 114.2 nm, scott 115.1 nm, news 119.2 nm, CG 123.3 nm, and from W side robert1 125.3 nm

of course a lot can change overnight so it will be interesting to see what morning brings!!

Still at sea; CG after break in sailing, and Robert Abandoned.

* Scott crossed the line high, and RC crossed farther south within seconds of each other.

After a good nights sleep the fleet are wide spread, some DCs fired better then others.. At 06.40 utc,

2017 40' Series Championship Q1&Q2 Singapore Visit
It's time for the sixth of six races in the 40' Q1 and Q2 Championship!
Welcome to Indonesia and a 365 NM race in one of the 40' available for your choice, from the Island of Natuna Besar to Singapore Harbor. This regatta is based on the course of the Singapore In-Port race back in 2009.

There are three boat designs to choose from and each one may NOT be used more than twice during the six race Series, according to the NORof the series
