9 September 2012

RESULTS

The months of July, August and September have seen SOL, in partnership with SSANZ, returning to the beautiful Hauraki Gulf for the three races in the 2012 SSANZ B&G; Simrad Two-Handed Triple Series.

This area of New Zealand is known for its variety of sailing conditions and alongside the IRL racers, SOLers have had to deal with all that the wind gods chose to throw at us. From millpond to towering waves - it is all there! The three SOLers, all of them SYC Members, who have made it to the Series Podium are to be congratulated on their achievement - some put it down to coffee and just managing without sleep (as in reality!) but without skill in the mix, they wouldn't be on the podium.

It has been an excellent series so don't forget to check on the SSANZ website and on crew.org for race reports and pics of the event!
